Use the uplight to fill the room with ambient lighting, or use the adjustable gooseneck reading light when you want to focus on the task at hand. An Adesso patented 300W Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding a 150W incandescent or LED bulb which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. Requires 2 x 150W incandescent or LED equivalent bulbs for the uplight and 1 x 60W incandescent for the reading light (sold separately).
NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL’s). When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur.
