The metal construction allows the "arms" to bend slightly inward or outward to provide the perfect grip for your handheld radio. The opening on top allows for the belt clip on the backside of your radio to slide in and a notch catches the radio clip and further secures it in place. The inner portion of the radio mount features a rubberized surface which reduces rattling and provides a snug fit.
