This is the next generation of Router Guard 2 designed to protect our environments from the EMF and RF waves emitted from routers.

The Router Guard 2 is a designer grade Faraday cage that blocks about 85% or so of the EMF or RF waves WiFi Routers emit. It is perfectly balanced to stand upright or to stand sideways on a shelf. It has an aesthetic appeal and will fit seamlessly into your decor while managing the waves in your environment Simple and easy to use.

Unplug your routers cables. Take a picture to remember where each cable was plugged into. Slide up the perforated shielding housing and drop your router in the Router Guard 2 chassis.

Reconnect the cables through the rubberized plastic grommet and slide the shielding housing back into the chassis. The Router Guard 2 is made for most small WiFi routers that fit into a 10 x 9 x 3.5 inches in size. Please measure your router and make sure there at least “1 inch” space for the cables to fit.

The Router Guard 2 XL fits the large commercial communications companies routers from AT&T & Comcast/Xfinity. The size of the Router Guard 2 XL is 11 x 13 x 3.5. Please review your size of router to determine which size is best for you.

Also, please take into account any base structure that is on your router. WiFi Router Cover Measuring RF is complicated. If you decide measure RF, radio frequency, waves please make sure you are measuring in units of micro watts per meter square, uW/m2.

When measuring RF use the Gigahertz Solution HF 35C or the Cornet ED88T Plus RF meters. NOTE: If you are measuring in units of Gauss, T or mT then you are using the wrong meter and measuring the wrong field.
