The padding now includes a RFLX-S impact layer on the inside, a series of columns between the shell and the liner that absorbs and deflects impacts before reaching the player. It works with the Tektonic plate impact managment system that help to provide a better fit for a wider range of head sizes. The helmet includes D3O foam on the inside for even more protection.
